Construction waste 914 w. 8th st
301 e 10th broken windows house has been open all summer
Work has stopped on this project for several weeks. 914 w 8th st. This construction waste is unacceptable
Sign at transit station has been broken and hanging from electrical wires for the last 2 days
IU Coal fired power plant is polluting our community's air and soil!
The house at 1413 w 11th has been vacant and uninhabitable since February. The owner has worked on it maybe two weeks out of that entire time. Six weeks ago he left with his windows and doors wide open and hasn't been back until today when he finally came back and shut the door and "mowed" the front lawn. The back is still overgrown. There are years worth of trash in the back of the property. It goes back 364' and there are tires, insulation boards, a toilet, carpeting, misc plastic debris, etc. all over the woods. There are also birds living in the roof (going in and out via the electrical box) and a groundhog going in and out of his crawlspace. Please do something about this! My property is 4' away from his house and I fear homeless people and drugs will be next. I fully anticipate the owner leaving the house in this continually deteriorating condition unless he is forced to remedy the situation.
306 s Euclid apt 1&2 west side stair rotted. Very dangerous to use.
I am a cyclist who lives on Weimer Rd. and commutes to work @ Monroe Hospital and attends IU. Currently I have had to start using Tapp rd. to 37S. when the clear creek bike trail is inaccessible. Both sides of Tapp have construction debris (mud, gravel, straw, etc...) it makes it both difficult and at times unsafe for cyclists. If I may request an occasional cleaning of both the side run off areas as well as the partially occluded sewers. And if I may be so bold as to ask if there is a way for you to relay a message to the State Dept. that is in charge of 37 debris removal. My selfish area of interest are the breakdown lanes from 2nd to Victor Pike, on both N. and S. sides as this is my alternative to the back roads and bike trails. Thank you very much. Randy Craw
Someone is dumping trash here on the ground that gis says is owned by city of Bloomington utilities department. Can someone from utilities please clean this up?
After seeing the water run clear all summer in Jackson Creek (I think that's what runs in front of the Shoppes on College Mall Rd.) this morning the water was very muddy and there was the smell of dead fish. Since there has not been rain recently it seems like something has been dumped in there. Something doesn't seem right about it anyway.
