Fire Hazards

I am very concerned about this deliberate house burn at 1213 S. High Street. The burn is happening now as I write to you and I went outside to look at it and there is so much paint debris and soot on our property and on our house. It is covering our solar panels and I am seriously concerned about this as I am a two time cancer survivor and need to breathe this unnecessary toxic fumes. Will the city clean up this mess that the fire has caused on our property? I don't know why I should clean this mess that probably includes lead in the paint ans is unhealthy to breathe in. I decided to go inside so I don't have to breathe the toxic fumes regarding the burn. Who agreed to this burn that is happening in a very busy residential area? I thought the City Council and the mayor were very concerned about having Bloomington be green and thinking of the environment. This deliberate burn is not healthy for the atmosphere nor the residents who live nearby and have to breathe this toxic air. It just seems to be one thing after another that we have to deal with in regards to the city and their decision making and nothing favorable for us as city taxpayers. We would like somebody to clean up all the paint debris on our driveway and our solar panels.

To trash pick up service. I have asked now twice if the trash collectors can take a little more careful time and not have our trashcans dumped on their sides. It damages the trashcans as well as our driveway that we spent $1600 to resurface.

Hi Cleanup and Sanitation department,
When I went outside today to bring in our trashcans this is what I saw (picture on left). The trash truck was there as we have just installed video cameras. This isn't the first time that our trashcans seem to be thrown around our driveway and I have complained about it before. This happened again and it was only our trashcan that was tipped over and I didn't report it. Our neighbors have the exact same size trashcan that we do and theirs are never tipped over like ours are (see photo taken today). We wish the trash collectors would slow down a bit and stop tipping over the trashcans. It damages not only the trashcans, but also our driveway that we paid $1600 to get resurfaced. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me regarding this. It is frustrating and damaging to our property.

Recently, when the trash collectors empty the trash from our trashcans they have been leaving the lid on the can open. invariably in will rain and require us to empty the can before putting it away. I've lived here 5 years and this has never happened. Our guys always do a great job collecting the trash. I think a new guy perhaps wasn't trained properly.

There is a small black dog that looks like a terroir mix at 1105 S Stull Ave. It keeps coming into the yard of the property we manage 1101 S Stull. Today the dog bit someone taking a tour of the house. They did not draw blood from that bite. After talking to the tenant we learned that they have also been bitten by the dog and that it did draw blood. We would appreciated it if the dog stayed in it's own yard.
Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

The low area of this block (1100 South between Washington and Lincoln) is in the old alley and is first flooded by the overflowing ditch along Davis Street and then water continues to flow up from damage pipe clean outs even when water in the ditch has lowered. The water peaked at about 1 foot higher than shown in the attached picture. There is a storm sewer manhole behind this garage, but no inlets are nearby. Is sanitary sewer infiltration to blame for this? Would fixing the clean outs lead to backups inside homes?

There is a bradford pear tree (an invasive species) on the city median with the street. I'd like to have this scheduled for removal
