Perpetual, seemingly continuing health problems - including gas leaks, lack of hot water on occasion, and some structural concerns. The sewage system is also extremely suspect. Repeatedly, (at least two times) raw human sewage has leaked in large quantities into basement. Fortune Properties took over a week to repair, and even then, more work was needed that was done.
MR. KUPERSMITH FEELS THAT TRAFFIC TRAVELS AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED ON WEST 8TH STREET BETWEEN ADAMS STREET AND THE TRAILER COURT. HE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMETHING DONE IN THIS AREA, POSSIBLY SPEED BUMPS (SEE ATTACHED LETTER).
Mr. Wilson is the manager at J D Byrider. E&M mobile home sales to the east has homes for sale parked very close to W. 3rd St., maybe actually in the ROW. He wants them to move the homes back to meet 60' from C/L setback requirement. The homes block vision of J D Byrider site for traffic coming from east. I recommend: check plat map for ROW & measure home location from there. If in ROW can make them move back. I think they're grandfathered from setback req., they were there prior to '73.

THE GROUND/ROAD ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER IS ERODING AWAY CAUSING A STEEP DROP OFF. REYNOLDS COMPANY DID A ROAD PROJECT AT THIS AREA APPROXIMATELY LAST YEAR OR THE YEAR BEFORE. THE CITIZEN IS CONCERNED THAT THE ROAD WILL CONTINUE TO ERODE AWAY, COULD SOMEONE FROM THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TAKE A LOOK AT THE PIPE.
