Ms. Wruble stopped by Pubic Works Department to voice her concerns regarding a line of sight problem exiting High Speed Tire Company. She was involved in an accident recently and she stated that she could not properly see oncoming traffic before she pulled out of the parking lot. She also stated that there is no sidewalk for pedestrian use and that cars park on both sides of Madison which also inhibits line of sight.
Ms. Miller volunteers @ 1st United Methodist church on Wednesday's to help feed the hungry. Due to church construction there is no longer a parking lot. She has a handicap tag for her car and walks w/ a cane (also elderly, needing to park as close as possible. Arriving to vounteer at 11:30, she always has trouble finding a space, especially a handicap space. She parked on yellow space between People's Bank & church alley where she recv'd the ticket. What can she do? She has appealed w/ CC
Accumulation of trash behind house on curb of E. 4th St.
Landlord has started to allow residents of adjacent property to use drive across front of this yard. Resident feels this is very dangerous, and is keeping him from using the driveway as he normally does.
Dumpster is overflowing & litter blown through neighborhood . Please call w/info. when assigned.
8TH AND HOPEWELL ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE STREET. There is a car without license plates covered by a tarp parked on the street, the car is rusting out and is an eyesore. Owner is piling truck loads of limestone in the City Right of Way. The entire area is overgrown with brush.
Mr. David Randolph (of IIG, Inc.) stopped in to complain that his water was shut off due to delinquency on a $30.00 acct. The shutoff cost him over $600.00 in loss of production. Mr. Randolph stated the shutoff could potentially have cost him machinery of plus pose an environmental hazard.
Westbound vehicles on Dodds St. are driving through Indiana Auto's parking lot to turn southbound onto Walnut St. The owner is concerned that customers might be injured by one of these vehicles. The owner is also concerned by vehicles traveling too fast through the East-West alley south of this property and that someone might be injured and requested that the alley be closed.
Over grown grass and weeds at 524 and lot next door
