Ever since the new meter was installed, my bill has been around $27 higher. I have called Customer Service every month or more. The only advice they had was toilet leakage and sent me blue stuff to check for leaks. I did this and found no leaks. I am unable to find any leaks in my home so I think the meter is the problem. Customer service won't even talk to me anymore which is very poor and rude service. If they can't help, they should pass you to someone else instead of ignoring you. I would appreciate some help from your end as I don't know anything else to do. Your bill shows me using twice the water the old meter said. 4000 gallons and I live alone. There is no way I use that much. Something is wrong somewhere and if I can't find the problem, it's your job.

I live in a condo area. Each unit has its own water meter and there is a master meter for the whole community. We are not billed according to the actual consumption but to the footage of each unit. Since it is caculated in this way, I have to pay 70 to 80 dollars a month and there are just two people in my household. I used to live in a unit where the monthly bill was $30 to $40 and it was paid to Bloomington Utilities. Now the water bill is quite unaffordable for a low-income family like mine. I just don't understand why we can't be billed individually based on our usage since we have separate meters. That would be a fair practice for every unit here.

I have contacted the water department and asked to speak with manager to no avail. I have only ever contacted the water dept. by phone. Never was told services had to be shut off via a form. I left Bloomington and the address 7/1, but billed until October. Someone was able to imitate services at the address without me being contacted. I'd like to discuss this with someone that can assist.

Our water usage volume has almost tripled in Jan, Feb and Mar of 2023 compared to Oct, Nov and Dec of 2022.From about 11K gallons to around 33K gallons per month. Something does not seem right. I believe our facilities manager did have a plumbing company look to see if they could find any issue but I don't believe they did. Can someone take a look at this issue? Upon reviewing my recent bills, I have noticed a significant discrepancy in the water consumption. In the month of April, the recorded consumption was approximately 30 gallons, while in May, it unexpectedly increased to 35 gallons. These figures are undoubtedly incorrect, as such a volume of water cannot be reasonably consumed by a single individual.
To address this concern, we immediately contacted our leasing office, as we suspected a possible emergency situation or water leakage within our house. They promptly responded by inspecting the property thoroughly but found no signs of any leaks or abnormal water usage. This observation leads us to believe that the issue may lie with the meter or its readings, as it seems to be continuously running even when the house is unoccupied.
Given our status as students, it is financially burdensome for us to pay the exorbitant amount of approximately $1000 for water alone. This kind of billing discrepancy is highly abnormal, as it greatly surpasses our electricity bill, which amounts to approximately $100 per month.
I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter and urge you to investigate the issue thoroughly. I have attached a copy of the bill for your reference. I believe it is essential to rectify this situation as soon as possible to avoid any further financial strain on our part.
