I'm hoping this is the right place for this comment. I have a complaint about the Taste of Bloomington...if this isn't the right place, please tell me.
anyway, the problem stems from the public hand washing stations located by the Port A Jons. I used the restroom, walked over to one of the stations to wash my hands. Soaped my hands up and proceeeded to wash the soap off. There was no water. At none of the stations...I was stuck with soap all over my hands. I had nothing to wipe my hands on except my shirt. which then left an ugly and embarrassing design. I was not happy. And later on, when I bought more food, (a Jankos ribeye sandwich), it tasted like soap. Not pleasant. If you're going to have a hand washing station, either make sure there's an ample supply of water, or use straight hand sanitizer that requires no water.

Just wanted to thank you for a job well done. I am an avid walker and my route frequently takes me by the north end of Southeast Park. For quite some time, the sidewalk running along the north side of the tennis courts near Moores Pike has frequently been covered with water and mud, becoming a nuisance for walkers, joggers, dog owners, cyclists and even tennis players. Recently the city trimmed the trees back, regraded the slope and created a drainage channel. I am happy to report that even during this wet summer, the fix seems to be working and so far the sidewalk has remained clear and passable. Many thanks!
btw, compliments to park staff as well for the fine job they do of keeping the doggie waste bags well-stocked, and the timely job they do of emptying trash receptacles. Dog owners and non-owners alike appreciate it.

The pressure in the water fountains in Sherwood Oaks Park, where the B-Line crosses Country Club Road, and the water fountain next to the Second Street Kroger is low. Does anyone check to see if the fountains are working properly? I almost have to lick the faucet like a dog to get a drink of water.

Greetings--I live at 706 W. Sixth St. Account # 4191-011. I am out of town for the summer. My water was shut off for non-payment back in June. Account is now current. How do I get the water turned back on?

Water running under street and down drainage ditch. It appears as though something is broken.

After seeing the water run clear all summer in Jackson Creek (I think that's what runs in front of the Shoppes on College Mall Rd.) this morning the water was very muddy and there was the smell of dead fish. Since there has not been rain recently it seems like something has been dumped in there. Something doesn't seem right about it anyway.

Hello, I wanted to inform the city about a standing and stagnant water issue in the northeast corner of Bryan Park - next to the tennis courts on the path there is a water fountain and in ground water meter that always has standing water and mosquitoes breeding in it. I've uploaded a picture and this was after 5 or 6 days of no rain. Addressing the issue will help reduce mosquitoes and the chance of illness in the area. Thank you.

Subsidence of manhole cover. (Water)
I have seen no less than 3 people stumble due to 1/2" drop.
Maybe bevel edge of brick.
