Candy, the parking enforcer, suggested we reach out. She was very helpful. My daughter recently moved into the 312 unit on Jefferson Street. My daughter & roommates were told (by their management company Brawley) that they could apply for a parking permit, but were then denied by the city. Is there any way that they can be issued parking permits in their zone? They do not have enough parking spots on the property to accommodate all people on the lease. We appreciate anything you can do to alleviate the parking concern. Thanks.

This Home does not have the address numbers on the front of the house. The house has litter in the yard. Vehicles have driven through the yard over the sidewalk to park in the drive. There have been broken bottles and caps in the yard and the alley.
Blight House. The structure has broken windows. It is a hazard. It has been vacant and a hazard for years. This property fits the description for a Blight home within the county and city ordinance.
Blight house. This house is a hazard and fits the definition of the city and county Blight ordinance. This has been reported several times. There have been as many as four tickets at one time on the door and nothing has been done.
The light at West Tapp Road and South Deborah Drive consistently changes to red for the cars on Tapp and remains red for an extended period of time, even when there are no pedestrians or cars coming from Deborah. This happens often enough to where over 50% of my drives have an extended period of waiting at this light, leading to increased fuel consumption, brake wear, and frustration.
The active construction sites on both Second St and West Kirkwood are causing dangerous traffic flow concerns on Howe St. Traffic that would normally take those routes is now all flowing onto Howe St, which is a two-way street with only one-lane traffic flow, and street parking. Typically, Howe St. is not very active except for local traffic. However, traffic flow is nearly continuous from both directions. Today in particular, (8/17) there has been non-stop traffic flow and I have seen several almost collisions and cars are speeding very fast down the road from both directions. I would highly suggest resolving some of the active construction sites in the area so they are not all occurring simultaneously, or alleviate traffic flow issues by planning better detours. In multiple locations on this side of town, many detour signs simply re-route you to another active construction area. Definitely a safety issue as this is a small neighborhood with pets and pedestrians walking the streets most of the time, and most local homeowners are limited to street parking. Additional construction has also recently been added to 1st street, and S Rogers st also adding to the issue.
CBU recently replaced a pipe at Broadview and Graham. They filled in the hole and topped it , but now the repair is sinking below road depth and seems to be getting a bit deeper daily. It's becoming a traffic hazard.
