In the Spring someone from my office could never find someone in the Morton parking garage so that she could buy the $40 parking pass. Now i am having difficulty contacting someone during business hours for the same reason. I have left 2 messages and continue to try and no one answers the phone. Who else can i call or email? This morning, my large recycling bin had been shoved through my lawn with such force that it left a 15" gouge. I can't imagine this was done by a person pushing the bin. I believe it was caused by the lifting arm of the truck being used to push the bin across the sidewalk. I witnessed the arm being used in this way a few weeks ago when the same bin was pushed with such force that its wheels snapped off and had to be repaired by the sanitation department. I would like someone to investigate the way the truck arms are being used and train the sanitation crews to avoid damaging property. I would also like someone to patch my lawn.
I have been using the Morton Street parking garage since August 2018. Every month I have gone into pay it via debit card and they took it every time. Since September of 2018 the parking garage has been open park pretty much do to renovations on the parking system. Meanwhile I was left paying for a parking pass for a free parking garage. The first few times I went in to pay the parking for the month they would swipe my card and then go into the system and mark me good for the month. The past few months they have just swiped my card and told me I was good. How are they supposed to know who has paid and who hasn’t if they aren’t marking it down. If it’s by card name, that’s not right because I pay for two passes under two different names. It’s a bit silly and something should be done.
Flow at 10th across campus needs improved. Slow speed is fine but not clogs. Particularly Spea/Wells walk and then left at Union.
100 companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions yet the City has decided local residents and their cars are the primary culprits in its parking garage denial, particularly those residents who may not have the luxuries of time, money, age, health, location, or ability to utilize other transportation modalities. This is what liberal privilege looks like, a total disconnect from the reality of working families.
Slow but flowing traffic is safer and more pleasant for everyone compared to stop and sprint jams on 10th. Put a signal or over or underpass at SPEA/Wells crosswalk and a left turn signal at Union and 10th on 10th Street. Thank you.
Hello. I'm following up to my SPEA crosswalk problem. Maybe I don't understand it but doesn't the City control that? Seems like the City is always catering to IU or is afraid instead of the rest of us living here. But something like a signal to take turns would work too. Just crazy if you ever watch it between classes. Heck, even a warning light blocks away to avoid it during those fifteen minute jams. But it's a real problem, more than a request for convenience. If the City can act, act please. I'd avoid campus if I could but it's huge and in the middle of town! Plus I have to go to campus sometimes. So help! If IU is in charge of funding and doing it and has authority over the City please let me know as will contact them. But seems they don't care much for the town other than itself. Thousands would be grateful! Thank you all. I'd even pay into a fund to stop that crazy logjam. I don't want people getting hit or cars.
Apartment Complexes in the area? Why is it that the apartments have the sidewalk on the outside of the building cleaned but the inside court yards NOTHING is cleaned? I have seen several of the lower class apartment complexes people must pay rent on time yet when we have bad weather we still get no credit for being people living in the buildings? We are not appreciated cause we are LOWER CLASS? discrimination to me. Where is the R E S P E C T FOR US!!!!

The Staff Directory on the city website does not work. I know there is a Danna Workman somewhere, but the search option cannot find her. Not can it find anyone who I know works for the city. Can you check out this issue? Specifically I am looking for the email address of Rhea Carter, Kenneth Lifford (I have seen different spellings of his name) and Raye Ann Cox. An answer from them in reaction to a UReport case I filed is not so helpful, because I cannot answer them back. Thanks!
