Sidewalk has been repaired.
Hello, 7 or 8 months ago I asked Xfinity/Comcast to correct a hanging cable of theirs after a storm knock a big tree limb into a telephone pole that took power and other cables out. Everything was repaired by Metronet & the Power Company but Xfinity/Comcast never came. It left a long cable that just hangs on our property is very annoying (and dangerous) when we are working, mowing, playing with grandson, etc. Xfinity/Comcast was contacted (claim #ECM0010285921) to come out and correct it, but they never did. It took a while to talk to a real person and even then it took so much explaining ever & over again through several transfers. You ever try to talk or chat with Xfinity/Comcast when you don't have an account with them? (I do not have an account with them) They ask over & over again for an account number! Very frustrating. After 45 minutes I was able to state my case about the hanging cable, they said they would send someone out but would have to have the "ok" from the City of Bloomington. I don't know what has happen since that day, but nothing has been done about it. I was hoping by emailing you we could get something done about it or help me on how to do so. It is an eyesore to look at, dangerous & annoying. Thanks for any help or advice you may have. Richard & Denise Keist 1224 N State St [email protected]
Someone called and left a message that the traffic signal at Indiana and Atwater was cycling incorrectly. It is not in sync with the pedestrian lights. It is telling pedestrians to walk on green lights.
Traffic Light at 2nd street when exiting College Mall is not working right. The light is not changing from red to green. It stays red and is sometimes holding up traffic. This has happening for a couple months.
Couple of growing potholes on north bound N. Monroe near 14th St. Thanks
The bus stop “landing pad” outside of our entrance on East Second Street needs to be replaced with perhaps concrete instead of the current asphalt. The asphalt is crumbling and ground is being pushed up and over the curb as a result. It’s a muddy mess and unsightly. The condition of the street has deteriorated a great deal since the photo in the report was taken. The asphalt is gone and the mud in now over the curb and onto the grass.
Resident call in: The street sign on the corner of E Jamie Lane and Benson Court is completely bent. Can we get a replacement sign please?
The intersection of Grant and Kirkwood, bricks missing on the SW corner near the road.
On the SE side of Grant and Kirkwood, one of the plastic around one of those green pipes is cracked and the dried looking gorilla glue inside is showing. I think we even fixed this same one last fall.
Sidewalk bricks missing in front of Trinity Church main door, near flower bed with missing tree in it.
