Is there any chance that the City would beautify (i.e. remove the rusty fence, cut the weeds, and mow nicely) the property on Monroe St near Tri-North where the water tank used to be?
7-20-2020: Second major flooding in Vance Music due to rainwater: Alleywork by City (install a water line?), water filters through alley surface patch, floods basement. This time, CFC Properties notified us their basement flooded as well. Alley needs resolution, Vance Music has lost property. Olympus will need to assess any structural damage due to water infiltration. Please advise.
I am a resident of Bloomington and live at: 3445 Constance Avenue I am enrolled in a college course called Environmental Technology. I have a project to perform and was asked by my instructor for the following items of the city where I live, Water Treatment Facility. 1. Types of pipe material 2. Initial cost of the water treatment system 3. Design water flow rate 4. Number of water towers and pumping stations 5. Problems with the system since it was built in 1967 6. Change in elevation from highest to lowest compared to where the location of water treatment facility 7. Types of disinfectant used I found three websites with a lot of information that I need but is there any other sites that would give me some of the answers to the questions listed above? I called the site at 812- 824-9311 with little success. thank you for your time. Sincerely, Joe Schartz

Hey All, Curious about hunting on land owned by the city. There is a small parcel located north of Dillman Rd alongside Clear Creek (39.09384 -86.55440) that I am interested in. Is any hunting allowed on land owned by the city?
We had a water main break a few feet from this location about 6 months ago. I know a utility worker came out and said there was no issue, but you might want to double check. Seems like a lot of water to just randomly show up.
