On Sunday there was a break in a water pipe that necessitated digging up the street in from of our house and mail box.The work was left unfinished, I assume due to the snow fall. Is it possible t repair and finish now that the weather has improved. It is difficult for the mailman to deliver mail.

There appears to be a broken water main because water has been rising to the surface on my property the past 5 days. My front north sidewalk (photo attached), east sidewalk, and south concrete garage floor have been soaked for the past 5 days. My basement is dry and no pipes are leaking in my house. The issue is a fire hydrant on 4319 Cricket Knoll Dr. in Gentry Estates. While it doesn't really look like it sticks out that much from the sidewalk (you'll see by the attached photos) as there is a cutout. But if you're blind and your can sway your cane under it and you're moving over to avoid the tree branch, then you can actually not know it's there. The complainant has hit it with the side of his leg three times and has fallen to the sidewalk.

The storm drains have been very clogged on the 500 block of south Woodlawn well before the cicadas and excessive rainfall. These need to be cleared to prevent cars from hydroplaning in standing water and “sidewalk tsunamis” that hit pedestrians when a car passes. Thank you.

On the south side of Winslow at the west side of Piccadilly there has been progressive erosion where the drain pipe goes under Piccadilly. Whenever we get a strong rain for five or ten minutes the ditch backs up on the east side of Piccadilly and does not flow freely under the road. The erosion mentioned has noticeably progressed this year and if left unabated the road will eventually be at risk of breaking at its edge. Also, be aware that the heavy rains flood the east side ditch and form a pool over the sidewalk which also spills out onto Winslow. We can see this from our home.
