Hello. There is a parking lot behind my property that is part of an apartment complex on 14th. It generates a great deal of run off such that every time it rains, my yard floods. I've called before but have not received a response. My question is this. Shouldn't there be a drain in the parking lot? Thanks Kevin
We have city built ditches/basin along the streets for rainwater drainage in the area. I recently noticed there is a big hole in the middle of the ditch, lots of the water goes into that hole when it rains, looks like it keeps getting worse. Can you send someone to take a look, and get the hole patched please? The storm drain between 1019 and 1017 w 6th st isn't draining. Water is flowing on top of it.
The storm drain at S Olive and E Hillside should be remedied. It is located at the bottom of a hill and gravel driveways uphill have gravel running down the street in heavy rains. There is so much gravel built up that weeds are growing around the stop sign and around the drain. Now, during a heavy rain, water cannot get to the drain and backs up into our driveway and gets close to the garage. This has consistently been an issue for years. Please remove the gravel and help us with a solution to keep this area clean.

Pavement around storm drain has crumbled, making the grate a hazard.
There is standing water in the storm drain directly to the north of 1308 S Palmer's driveway. It has not rained in over a week, so I that assume the drain is clogged. Attached photo is the reflection in the water when looking down into drain.
The public storm sewer on the side of my house is very much overgrown. The ragweed (which I'm allergic to) is at least 4 feet high. The ditch probably needs to be cleared and widened as well. I reported the widening and talked with city about this almost 2 years ago. We have frequent flooding problems in our back yard.
