Overgrown grass in median making it dangerous to pull out on main road Winslow because you can’t see cars driving over the blind hill. A neighbor said they already reported this but the city has yet to take any action so I am reporting this aswell. Very overgrown and this will eventually cause a car crash or bike/pedestrian injury due do low visibility.

Almost all street lights have been out at Oakdale apartments for months. It is almost completely dark around the entire apartment complex during the night/early morning. There are people walking around during these hours (some unhoused), and it seems like a safety hazard. Property management is aware & not responding to emails.

The property needs to be inspected by a City official and repaired or condemned. Under Bloomington Municipal Code Chapter 17.16, a building is considered unsafe if it is: Structurally Impaired: Posing a danger to persons or neighboring property. Unsanitary: Lacking adequate ventilation, light, or sanitation to protect health. Observing this property over the last 18 months, there has been no change in this property, except that the condition is getting worse. Locals state the home has been in derelict conditions for many years. Damaged roof. A tarp does not constitute a roof. There is no ventilation in the house or working exhausts. Windows do not open/close. No heating or cooling in the structure. Dangerous electrical resulting in the occasional use of a small light. No plumbing in the structure. Resident carries buckets of water from nearby and can be seen washing his hair and body outside of his front porch. No functional bathroom inside the home. Occupant cannot flush waste properly. The entire place appears to be a fire hazard. Evidence of structural fire damage that may also impact the electrical and plumbing concerns. Overgrowth vegetation and weeds. Inoperable vehicles in front and behind the unsafe structure. The severe neglect of this property is diminishing the quality of life for the community and hindering its overall desirability. The dilapidated condition of the property presents a substantial public eyesore and poses a detriment to the neighborhood character. Please take action to keep Bloomington beautiful and avoid causing a serious decline in neighborhood standards for the entire City of Bloomington.

There is a row of storage units immediately to the south of my apartment at Brandon Ct. There is a space between the units and a fence that is supposed to be maintained by Henderson Court. As you can see by the photo (I can provide more), it appears that unhoused people use it as a place to sleep. The area is strewn with trash, and mattress/foundation, and I would suspect that drug activity is or has occurred in the space. Furthermore, several packages have been stolen off of my stoop by occupants of this space. Clearly, this poses a health and safety hazard. I ask that the City investigate the area and assess fines and other sanctions against Granite, the listed property owners or managers. In addition to clean up and possible environmental remediation, I want the area secured in such a fashion that in the future no unhoused people can reoccupy the space. The Department may also need to contact Henderson Court for erection of a fence that denies access for the length of the fence that serves as the property line between Henderson Court and Brandon Court. Townhouse condos behind us have not trimmed the weeds that have come up as a result of all of the rains this season.

The address I entered (1621 S Dorchester) is one in a series of condos that I mean to report for overgrowth (I believe they're managed by an HOA). I manage a property at 1803 E Thornton Dr. There is a ton of overgrowth coming from those condos on Dorchester that have grown over and through our back fence. I would like the HOA, or whoever is responsible, to clean it all out. Thank you for your help!

Neighbors both front and back yard are excessively grown and riddled with weeds, attracting rats and other vermin. It’s unsightly and causing weeds to spread into neighboring yards. I’ve reached out before and nothing has been done yet.
