We have a gigabit line install over the city sidewalk, easement. Installed by axis solutions Nov 25th. This is a heavily used sidewalk near mailboxes and we have two blind residents that use this pathway. There is a hello flag but no safety ramp, cones or other alerts that might deter a blind person. It's not a well lit area and is a tripping hazard. Please call at your earliest convenience, 812.650.8740 to offer solutions.

There is a broken utility cover in this area, leaving a hole in the ground. I have placed a cone over the top of the hole to try to prevent anyone from accidentally stepping into the hole. It needs to be repaired ASAP. It appears to me to be a telecommunication type box that was recently installed during the City’s Fiber installation.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems like installing signs and marking the new speed bumps on S. Washington would be a smart idea. The bumps that were installed blend in perfectly to the existing pavement, the paint is woefully inadequate to be visible under any conditions, and there are no signs indicating that there are bumps. People are being taken for quite the ride thanks to another phenomenal job by the city with a poorly implemented traffic calming device.

The painted lines that delineate the street-parking spots in front of my home are almost completely faded and no longer visible. Can you please schedule repainting of the parking-space markings? When turning right from S Highland Ave onto E Hillside Drive, vegetation on the left badly blocks the view of oncoming traffic on Hillside. You have to nose your car well out into the street to be able to see to the left and verify that it is safe to turn right onto Hillside. Please have that vegetation trimmed.

per Case #206391, it has NOT been resolved; driving over those metal plates even at 5-10mph still poses a moderate risk to any vehicles driving over it. This is not a safe surface to drive over.

Trees/shrubs are overgrown and obscure visibility. If you're heading east on Dodds and waiting to cross Walnut, you have to pull forward until you're partially in the road in order to see if traffic is clear. This issue also exists at the intersection of Dodds & Washington (heading east) - you can't see if anyone is coming on that one-way road (or if anyone is about to cross the crosswalk) unless you pull all the way forward. This is especially dangerous because the stop sign itself is almost always obscured by a tree branch.
