Norma was out with a Streets crew this morning collecting leaves and called with a line of sight issue at the NW corner of Skyline Drive and Kinser Pike. She said a pine tree that sits on the resident's side of the sidewalk blocks the view both north and south when trying to pull out on the street.

On March 2, 2016, I submitted a question about the lack of painted crosswalks for pedestrians crossing 3rd Street at Jordan Avenue. I received a prompt reply from Matt Smethurst, saying that the intersection would be torn up soon for stormwater improvements, and the crosswalks would be completed after that. There was indeed work completed over the summer, and the curbs now look very nice, but almost a year after my original question, there are still no crosswalks painted in the street. Are they going to appear sometime?

Dear Government, I have been living here for about 13 years, and in this time it has become clear to me that there is a problem at the intersection between Rusgan Drive and Ramble Road West. You see this intersection has been my bus stop for years, and whether it's the dark of morning when I leave or daylight when I get back people speed right by as if there were no speed limit. This is only made worse by the fact that the intersection is half blind because it lies at the bottom of a small hill. So for the well being of myself and the children of the neighborhood I am requesting that this intersection be changed to a three way stop. I believe this would force the people of the neighborhood to drive at a more reasonable speed and therefore make my street much safer. I believe my neighbor across the street, the father of a small child, previously wrote the city requesting the same thing. I myself am just a teenager. So you know that once the problem has reached the point where a teenager takes time where they could have been doing nothing to write the city about traffic regulation, it's probably not just nothing. And considering others have written about this in the past, I frankly find it foolish to wait until someone actually gets hurt to take action. Thank you for your time and consideration, P.S. I apologize if this came across as somewhat hostile, I know whoever reads this is probably not at fault.

A couple weeks ago cbu dug a hole at 11th&college and abandoned a sign in the bike lane on the south side of 11th just west of college. It moved to the sidewalk, and i reported it as blocking the sidewalk on april 5. Now it has disintegrated and moved back to the bike lane. Its black base is almost invisible at night and poses a mortal danger to cyclists. You wont like where i put it if you dont take care of ot within 24 hours.

The intersection at north 10th, Smith road, and Russell road is one of the most dangerous in Bloomington. I believe there needs to be a traffic light there to allow people to turn from Smith Road. It's almost impossible for drivers coming off Smith Road to turn either right or left onto 10th or Russell, especially during rush hour traffic. Visibility is poor because 10th street curves in unusual ways at that intersection, and none of the two-way traffic wants to yield. Bus traffic from 10th Street compounds the problem. Complaint of insufficient and unclear construction signage. Is making it difficult to get into parking lot where she works and sometimes forces her to take one way streets the wrong direction in order to access parking lot.

VERY disappointed in the new sidewalk curbs at 4th and Indiana. The curbs are to high for handicap individuals trying to correct they have made a mess of the new sidewalk areas. One sidewalk has been chipped significantly trying to correct. Very poor job.
