The city has come out and measured several times for a culvert to be installed in front of my driveway. The problem is that the street is higher than my driveway and this house is at the bottom of a hill. When it rains all the debris from the street and houses above me come into my driveway. There is so much water that my basement can flood and the water level can easily reach several feet deep. I have at the moment blocks of stones in front of my driveway so that the debris and water keeps going down Mitchel street instead of blocking the small drainage grates that are in driveway. During hard rains, water backs up in the southeast corner of my yard and comes into my garage and basement from the parking pad on the east and below grade through the wall to the north. The sidewalk running along the Clifton St. right of way is the east boundary of my property (see photo). Water simply can't move fast enough to the culvert you installed south of my property on the west side of the sidewalk. Is there anything you can do to alleviate this problem? I'm happy to discuss the details. Thank you.

sidewalk bridge handrail top pieces are loose - at least 2 dozen screws have rusted out. please replace with galvanized screws.

There are leaves covering the sidewalk in front of 409 S. High Street. A stroller can't use the sw at this moment. The citizen doesn't blame the homeowner because they are putting them out their for the City to vacuum them. Maybe there can be an early pickup so the sw will be usable again & this dangerous situation eliminated.

A hole has appeared next to the sidewalk by the grass,that goes under the sidewalk. It is about 24" deep and could be dangerous if the sidewalk caved in. It is about 8' in from the corner of University St on Eastside Drive. Could somebody check it please. Thanks

I am a bicyclist and must use the sidewalks occasionally because of lack of bike lanes. At 701 S. High St., there is a culvert that borders the house and the apartment building. Weeds are growing out of the culvert and blocking the sidewalk, creating a hazard. It's not clear if it's the homeowner's responsibility or the city's to remove the weeds. Weeds are also protruding from the property onto the sidewalk.
