The tulip poplar planted along the S High St recreational path last autumn is showing no signs of life this spring. All of the other tulip poplars in the area are now fully leafed out. This is the last tree in the row that includes the yellowwoods north of Wimbleton St. Would love for it to be replaced this year. Thanks.

Given that tomorrow is the last date to lodge complaints against how the Southeast Park Trail 2 was constructed, and given that I've already lodged complaints against this (to no avail), I am one last time losing a last complaint against the SE Park Trail 2, to document that you people aren't even considering this issue as relevant.
Just to document this for records, I've complained about the SE Park 2 issues for a couple of years now. The City chooses to ignore these complaints. I have only complained about how The City and their colleagues ignored my complaints over time. And still......
At some point will our city planners do something about this? No?

Would it be possible to install a crosswalk button for pedestrians who cross the street on the corner of 3rd and Hawthorne? The light generally does not change to cross 3rd. unless there is a car at the light waiting to cross 3rd on Hawthorne. It ends up with people crossing on a red light and people speed coming over that hill it is dangerous.
Thank you,
Omar Alani

One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. Thank you!

Large pine tree (within residence land) fell on a tree (on parkway /treelawn). Pine tree has been removed today, but tree in parway / treelawn is badly damaged on top. Worried broken limbs will fall on kids walking to & from Childs Elementary School and/or hit cars or obstruct the street.

New street tree not replaced: after the multi-use path was installed, a tree replacing a large locust was planted. That tree died almost immediately. This spring, someone from the city cut it off at the base, but did not replace it. I u-reported it last year as well and was informed then that the contractor which originally planted it would replace it sometime during last year. It’s no skin off my nose if it isn’t replaced, just rather disappointing. Thanks!
