We recently purchased the home backing up to the rail trail. We have what appears to be a large dead tree on the trail side of the fence. We are concerned it will fall onto the home. Would appreciate someone taking a look. Thank you, Cheryl

I’ve submitted this before but we still have phone lines about 6 feet off the ground running though our side yard. We’d really like to know who to contact or have them contacted that these need raised for safety but also code compliance
Unsafe Buildings
918 N Lindbergh DR
- Case Date:

Despite the BHA making multiple efforts to ask the resident in 918 to stop allowing multiple guests to chainsmoke cigarettes and other "combustible materials" given that this is a non-smoking building, I have a documented medical issue, and the presence of oxygen tanks, the resident in 918 continues to allow guests to smoke. The office offered to transfer me to a different unit, but upon receiving the key after signing the lease, the unit had serious water damage and heavy mold. I am not able to move into the new unit until those issues are addressed. Resident in 918 continues to allow smoking day and night, high foot traffic, and sits with his door open all day waiting for me to come and go so he can make comments to try to get a reaction out of me in retaliation for the previous report. This is a follow-up to that previous report. Thank you.b

Potholes, Other Street Repair
2035 W Allen ST

W Allen St, from Bloomfield Rd to S Patterson Dr, needs to be completely repaved. The roads hills make it dangerous enough for the many vehicle types that traverse it, and that doesn’t include the copious amount of potholes and poor repairs that have been layered over top of each other over the years. Whoever the City is hiring to repair these potholes is NOT diligent and doesn’t care about a job well done—the recent pothole fixes are rough and bumpy. (That’s in addition to the several companies who have dug up roads and left them in worse states, like at S Rogers/2nd St and Bloomfield Rd/Rolling Ridge Way). I’m all for the City repairing roads, but I am NOT for my tax dollars going to poor-quality work!
500+ cars must travel this street each day, from residential traffic to the traffic from Novo Nordisk employees and its vendors/suppliers. Cars constantly swerve to avoid poor conditions, and it puts all drivers at risk.
I saw that W Allen St was supposedly scheduled for repaving or repairs in 2025, according to the Street Paving Map, but I don’t know if it’s incredibly delayed or just woefully outdated.
It would be great to have an update on if this street will be smoothed out with new pavement in 2026. Thank you.

I made a report yesterday about an abandoned trailer with no plate on it. I don’t know when but it has been moved in front of my house blocking my vehicle. Please remove.

This is a sample of what my curb looks like. Our short street is beaten up too. I've lived here since 2002 and would really appreciate having my curbs repaired. Thank you in advance.
