Both trash and recycling receptacles have been sitting out for a week. Refuse is overflowing and blowing down the street.
A small grey and white dog is regularly let out with no supervision and no leash. It runs back and forth across the street and has chased several neighbors. It's barking constantly when it's out. A neighbor just east of the location is calling it Smokey and seems to know who it belongs to.
The road needs re-paved. It was great that the potholes got filled, but the road itself just needs an actual coat of ashpalt on it or something. Every time it rains, more if it washes down the sewer drains on the street.
The street lights need to be reangled or shielded so the light shines only onto the intersection and stops blinding the houses at the intersection. The light on the southwest corner is particularly bad due to the height of the land and the angle of the light. We issued several complaints when the intersection was re-done and nothing has ever been done. The light pollution is terrible at this intersection and there is no reason it should be brighter than even Walnut and Winslow. Please install light shields to angle the lighting properly.
Only emptied 1/2 of my trash can. Nothing was blocking the ability to empty. What’s up with that?
We used to have a street light on this corner (7th & Hay), but the pole fell on my house. It was replaced with one without a light. Any way we could get a light put on it?
sidewalk on east side of walnut about 100ft south of 19th st blocked by mulberry tree. thanks!
The Davis family is hard-headed. New signs on the corner in the grass at Henderson and Wylie, and on the NE corner at the intersection of Winslow and Walnut, next to the streetlight pole and transformer.
On Sunday evening I caught some photos of a loose dog on Southdowns between Manor and Hawthorne. The dog is frequently out on its own and tends to stay within that block roughly. It lives in a red house on Southdowns. My main concern is that this Sunday I was on a walk and observed the dog almost get hit by two vehicles in the road, I had to re-route my walk with my dog because this dog was at-large with an unknown temperament, and the dog also went to the bathroom in the grass by the creek without being cleaned up by the owners (due to being oblivious to where their dog was at the time). Is there anything that can be done to try to keep the dog safe and other drivers and pedestrians safe too? Thanks.
