Rogers & Maker Way. Red car on sidewalk, two cars in crosswalk. thanks!
I got a parking ticket, but I wasn’t even parked. I had to run inside of a building really quick and I put my hazards on while the car was still running with someone in it. The guy giving me a ticket got really aggressive with me and started to pick a fight with me. I was trying to resolve this in a calm manner but he got into another fight with a man on the street. I did not need to be harassed.
Is it true that the 4th Street Garage is free on Sundays?
The kiosk in the lot behind jimmy johns has been out of order for past few months. Went to pay at the other kiosk this morning and wouldn’t take any coins.
car parked illegaly on southwest corner of 2nd/3rd floor of 4th street parking deck - not within lines and not per the sign - non ev parked in ev spot. I know they will say "i didnt see the sign" or "there were plenty of other spots open" but the rule is for everyone. Please ticket them. Thank you.
The incident occured at approximately 10:20am on 2/15/22. We were performing work at the One City Centre for Connor Reporting (120 W 7th St), when we parked our 2009 Ford Edge in the Taco Bell parking lot. We parked in the lot between 9:50-10:00am. I have 2 main issues with the non-consenual tow I received from TowTime Towing and Breakdown Solutions. #1 I was charged $168 for the tow, when it clearly states in your city ordinance for a max of $135 for the tow [4.32.130]. The car was picked up from the tow facility at 11:03a. #2 I did not receive a copy of any written authorizations from Taco Bell regarding the authorized tow of my vehicle [4.32.100 subsection a]. Please direct me in the correct way to file an appeal against this predatory tow. I am looking to receive full reimbursement for the improper tow. I am also interested in verifying the licensure of TowTime in regards to [4.32.040].
ParkMobile is just awful. Could you please make it so 1) we can purchase a specific amount of time as you can in Indianapolis and other cities (several times I have forgotten to stop my parking and ended up paying for 12 hours and only parked for 30 minutes. You are stealing our money by doing this) and 2) we can pay with ApplePay
Meter deactivated on park mobile. Zone 76136.
I moved into the new apartment complex at 1301 S Walnut St this past August. Until last week, there was ample parking available on Driscoll St. that tenants in my complex could use. Last week, though they painted the curb yellow (half of the block 100 E Driscoll and 1200 S Walnut), taking away 3 to 4 parking spaces. This was not communicated to myself or the other tenants in the building. If the building has been occupied since August, why is the street just now being painted? Myself and the other residents of my building are not happy that so much parking space has been taken away this late into out leases. The amount of space now marked as a no parking zone is excessive, causing major inconvenience for myself and the other people who park on Driscoll Street regularly. I just received a citation today for being parked partially in this area and I am very frustrated as I used to park there regularly with no issues.
I want to report officer 303gr for unprofessional conduct. Today (3/10/22), I drove to the Park Mobile parking area near the IU psychology building. I park here most days and never have issues whatsoever. The first time around, I parked my vehicle in a spot that was questionable as to whether it was allowed or not (due to a small portion of my car being in the yellow). I had my passenger get out and ask the parking enforcement officer, who happened to be doing his rounds, if the spot I parked in was okay. He said no because it was near a fire hydrant. Not a problem, I was willing to move. Before my passenger even got back to the car from asking him, he approached me and started asserting that I must move now and that I was illegally parked. I said I knew that because not even 10 seconds ago we asked you if parking here was okay. Then, I moved to a spot across the street and remained in my vehicle with the car running because I was waiting for someone who just got into their car to leave so I could park legally in a place without restrictions. He approached me and said that I had to pay to park here and I explained that I knew that, and would pay as soon as I moved to the spot across the street so I knew what zone I needed to mark on the Park Mobile App. He disregarded what I said, and continued to repeat “you need to pay” over and over again without listening to my reason as to why I hadn’t paid. This entire encounter only lasted about 2 minutes. As I was about to move my car to the spot that had opened up, the officer chose to stand in front of my vehicle, so that I couldn’t move my car, and write me a ticket for parking meter violation. I asked him for his name or badge number and he initially refused. I asked again and learned he was officer 303gr. I have attached a photo to prove that I was in my vehicle at the time of being issued a ticket and to show the officer blocking my car so that I couldn’t drive to a new spot. My Park Mobile account reflects my payment beginning at 9:39 am and the ticket shows it was also issued at 9:39 am. I have no problem paying for a parking ticket if I feel that I did something wrong, but in this case it felt as though the officer was just being rude and the way he conducted himself was very unprofessional. The citation number is 22203101457. Thank you.
