A tree from what I believe is City property in Griffy Lake Nature Preserve has fallen and landed in my backyard. I called the non-emergency number to report about a week ago but haven't heard anything. The tree is tall and half is still standing with other half in my yard. I am at 423 East Lakewood Drive. There is significant erosion occurring in Park Ridge Park on the col-du-sac side of the park. I was hoping the park and this issue could be put on the list to receive new grass or whatever attention it needs to reduce the erosion. Thank you.
To whom it may concern, Over the past couple weeks I have been visiting the Miller-Showers Park located at 1500 N. College Ave. I like to pass the time listening to the waterfall or looking at the detailed sculptures. Unfortunately, it is hard to enjoy the view because the water is so slimy and murky. I am disappointed because it can look so much better if cleaned. Right now it just looks gross. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if someone could please clean the water so there is no more green slime in the water. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. Griffy Trails: The trails are torn up by motor bikes. She is worried about endangered plant life in the park and erosion being caused by these bikes.
Sherwood Oaks Park: Lights out.
Ms. Stanger had rented the TL lodge on 8/14/98. She decorated the lodge on 8/13 for her party. When she arrived the next day she found that someone had redecorated for an event on the 15th! Laurel called the other party and swiftly resolved the situation. Ms. Stanger thanked Laurel and was MOST grateful for all of her efforts!
Farmers' Market: Caller says that there should not be animals at the market. This past weekend there were three dogs and two cats. He does not want this to continue. He wants to work together on the project to change this.
