Temporary parking lot / staging area on west side of rogers between 10th and 11th st. I believe this lot is being used to assist trades district garage construction. Trucks still parking on grass, even though there is now a large gravel pit on the site. More importantly, instead of using the engineered driveway cut on the north edge of the site, they pull directly from their parking spots onto the street. This is causing severe damage to the sidewalks along the entire frontage, as well as obstructing pedestrian passage when the drivers stop on the sidewalk while waiting traffic to clear. Today 5 trucks crossed the sidewalk just in front of us as we were walking back from fairview elem at about 3:30pm -- their shift change seems to conflict with the safe route to school.
