Grass is very high and homeless people are squatting on this vacant property.
Grass is very high and homeless people are squatting on this vacant property.
There are many pedestrians like myself who walk North Walnut under the railroad trestle just north of 13th Street. On the west side of Walnut, this is so overgrown with weeds (some nearly trees) it becomes difficult to safely navigate there. Who is responsible to maintain this problem? If it's the railroad, they should be fined - especially in the winter when snow is NEVER cleared. The weeds are a nasty sight, too. One more thing, what should we do when we see homeless people making their 'homes' under the bridge. I just came past there and a couple of scary guys (trolls??) were making themselves comfortable. I'm a middle-aged single woman w/o a car so I often have to go to CVS from my home at 11th and Walnut. Thanks for any help you can provide!
property appears vacant and unsafe, concerned about possible use by homeless
Front door is open, and trash all over the yard. There are homeless people coming and going.
grass is high and roof is falling in and homeless people are in and out
In a McDoel Gardens Neighborhood meeting a woman that lives on Morton stated that homeless folks are living in the woods off South Morton and West Dodds - trash and tall overgrowth in area.
This person is throwing trash out of his bathroom window. He has homeless people living, in a tent, in his yard. You have to go behind the white house down the alley.
Roof has fallen in, homeless living in house, open structure.
Bloomington Police Department called, vacant lot has trash from homeless strewn about (in the back by the railroad track).
unsafe vacant structure, being used by kids and homeless
