I have a client that has come to my office to report that her neighbor is scary and has a lot of people at his home constantly. Mostly she would like to report noise complaints. He is very loud at night and has a lot of people always coming to the his home late at night driving motorcycles and it is very disruptive.
This is a follow-up on my complaint from 8/18, #173408, regarding the noise from the work on the tennis courts. The piercing truck backing-up noise went on late yesterday, possibly until around 8 pm. This morning it began at 6:40 am. Is this not a bit too early? Is 12-14 hours of this noise in a day not excessive? This noise has been going on all week. How much longer will it persist? Speaking with my neighbors, this noise is forcing us to risk covid and go into the office. Is there no way to turn down the volume on the warning beep? As bad as it is for me, I imagine this must cause some loss of hearing and sanity for the construction workers using the equipment.
Re: Acct # 8790-56-001-0817559. Subscriber says she received bill which she doesn't owe. Says bill was paid, she moved July 25, TCI office "wouldn't shut off the cable". Sibscriber did not provide copy of bill. See letter attached.
CBU CREWS DAMAGED HER MAIL BOX POST WHILE WORKING IN THE AREA
Janos Starker called Utilities Dept. and stated that his address was 1241 Winfield Road. The post office shows the address as 1241 S. Windfield Road 47401-6147, and this is what Utilities records now show. A determination should be made as to the correct address.
Homeless individuals are urinating through the fence line onto our property, multiple times a day. This morning, as I came into my office and opened my blinds, an individual exposed himself by taking off his pants to urinate. They are littering trash all over and throwing clothing items over the fence. Their animals are also running around off-leash, sometimes even barking at pedestrians on the B-Line, occasionally chasing after them.
We are the 1556 S. Andrew Circle, Bloomington residents. This dead tree belongs to the City and it happened to be located right in front of our house. It really hurts our neighborhood’s green environment. We are encouraged to notify the City in order to remove or replace this Dead Tree ASAP. We tried several calls within the last three weeks, but no one really knows where we need to report. Finally we were asked to contact Mr. LEE from your forest department. But He neither answer our phone call nor response to our messages. We are very upset with Lee’s irresponsible attitude. If this is not his responsibility, he needs to call us and let us know who will be the right person to call. His ignorance to residents’s request is not acceptable. We are forced to write this email and hope City will pay attention to it. There is no too small things can be ignored if City really takes its responsibility. Hope to hear from you soon. Mr. Spieth, (of 1811 Hyde Park Cir.) contacted the Public Works Office to report that the house directly to the west of him (1807 Hyde Prak Cir., Owners are Duemler, Terry & Theresa) have been dumping large amouts of limbs, yardwaste etc. in the green space around the Mayfair Subd.(which is right by his house.) for a number of years. He would like this looked in to, he is leaving town for 2 weeks on 3/15/2003.
Rec'd. a call from Mayor's Office. An anonymous caller stated to them that she was driving behind a yellow vehicle (611) when a piece of wood fell off. The driver did not stop to pick up wood - continued driving. Caller felt this was careless and wants to be sure all materials in back of trucks are tied down or secured in the future.
I am a neighbor of this address. Twice in the past year, the two dogs who live at this property have been in the street and charged me and my dog. On another occasion, one of the dogs charged the property's fence and attempted to bite me by reaching *over* the fence. I have reported two of these instances to Animal Control. The last time (when the dog attempt to bite over the fence), the Animal Control officer told me that he had explained to the owners that their fence violates zoning by being too close to the sidewalk, and that the owners had expressed an intention to remove the fence in the front and keep the dogs in the back. However, I have heard, "We keep the dogs in the back" multiple times, when that is not true. The Animal Control Officer suggested that I could contact the city's zoning office, to have the fencing issue in the front yard addressed. I cannot find a way to contact Zoning specifically, so I am submitting the request here. FWIW, other people have had encounters with these dogs, though I don't know if they have reported it.
