Several weeks ago the new fiber cables were buried along E Hillside Dr. I was working from home when one of the workers knocked on the door and asked if I had water. I did, and so did the neighbors. The worker said he ran into water, but if we all had service, then he wasn’t going to worry about it. I didn’t think anything of it. Now, we have noticed there is water coming up out of a spot along the sidewalk. I realize the picture is not really telling you much, but it’s like a small mud pit and water is coming up out the ground there. This is within the 10’ strip that the City of Bloomington owns along this section of Hillside.

The tab water has been tasting really bad for roughly the last week. Is this a known city-wide issue or should I be calling a plumber. I can't find any other reports of this issue.

About a week after the taste and smell of tap water became like dirt, very organic, I began having loose stool. Last night I bought gallons of water from Kroger because the issue has only gotten worse. There is a street cave in developing near 1825 S. Highland Ave. It has rapidly gotten much worse over the last couple of days. Hole looks a couple feet deep. Is next to a semi-recent water main repair.

Our water bill is way higher than typical. I have looked for a running toilet and checked in the house for a water leak but I'm not finding anything. Is it possible that the leak could be outside?

The water meter in the front yard of the home I am renting has been flooded since we moved in earlier this month. A neighbor informed us the unit was hit by a large riding lawnmower and has been leaking water since (no date). I do not wish to have my yard flooded as it is a waste of water and a potential hazard to the neighborhood

Highland and Skylark-Water coming out of the street, crews digging and trying to repair, water shut off at 1527 S. Highland Ave. Would love to know how/if this will effect our water.
