I have been trying to pay water bill online for quite some time today and every time I do it says runtime error. This has occurred on two laptops and a cellphone, wifi and cellular data. I will check again tomorrow but I wanted to bring this issue to someone's attention. Thank you.
Hi there! My name is Melanie Nelson, I work in environmental services for Daly City. Our department is putting together a workshop on water conservation in the home as part of our "Going Green" series. We see it as a great way to protect the environment while also educating the community and saving them money, it's a win-win-win situation! The article is a basic overview for children on water conservation in the home and its benefits, with links to several great sources for both children and adults. To whom it may concern: I was at the website for sustainability and water barrels, here: http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=5952 There is a paragraph, "A typical rain barrel is a drum with 50-60 gallons of capacity. In Bloomington, you can buy a rain barrel from Earth Care, the Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District and others. Or, you can build your own! Download our step-by-step instructionshere (DOC 368.00 KB)." Unfortunately the link to the "Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District" seems to go to a New York page! I doubt this is intentional? Please let me know. The 2013 fee schedule says $45 for a rain barrel, which I might be interested in if I can really pick one up in Bloomington IN. Thank you! I'm unable to find where I can submit payment online for my water bill. I've gone to the "Pay Utility Bill" page, but there isn't a link for Aqua Pay.
The property needs to be inspected by a City official and repaired or condemned. Under Bloomington Municipal Code Chapter 17.16, a building is considered unsafe if it is: Structurally Impaired: Posing a danger to persons or neighboring property. Unsanitary: Lacking adequate ventilation, light, or sanitation to protect health. Observing this property over the last 18 months, there has been no change in this property, except that the condition is getting worse. Locals state the home has been in derelict conditions for many years. Damaged roof. A tarp does not constitute a roof. There is no ventilation in the house or working exhausts. Windows do not open/close. No heating or cooling in the structure. Dangerous electrical resulting in the occasional use of a small light. No plumbing in the structure. Resident carries buckets of water from nearby and can be seen washing his hair and body outside of his front porch. No functional bathroom inside the home. Occupant cannot flush waste properly. The entire place appears to be a fire hazard. Evidence of structural fire damage that may also impact the electrical and plumbing concerns. Overgrowth vegetation and weeds. Inoperable vehicles in front and behind the unsafe structure. The severe neglect of this property is diminishing the quality of life for the community and hindering its overall desirability. The dilapidated condition of the property presents a substantial public eyesore and poses a detriment to the neighborhood character. Please take action to keep Bloomington beautiful and avoid causing a serious decline in neighborhood standards for the entire City of Bloomington.
Despite the BHA making multiple efforts to ask the resident in 918 to stop allowing multiple guests to chainsmoke cigarettes and other "combustible materials" given that this is a non-smoking building, I have a documented medical issue, and the presence of oxygen tanks, the resident in 918 continues to allow guests to smoke. The office offered to transfer me to a different unit, but upon receiving the key after signing the lease, the unit had serious water damage and heavy mold. I am not able to move into the new unit until those issues are addressed. Resident in 918 continues to allow smoking day and night, high foot traffic, and sits with his door open all day waiting for me to come and go so he can make comments to try to get a reaction out of me in retaliation for the previous report. After reporting several urgent issues to maintenance Tenant was under the impression that his until would be inspected during the 3 day code inspection dates stated by management however no repairs have been made. Maintenance entered but never returned. For over a year I have reported my toilet and shower bubbling up waste that spills over into closet and connecting rooms. I have also reported several times that my light switches electrocuted my son and that several electronics have been short circuited due likely to unstable flowing electricity caused by water damage in the walls. This also has caused my lights to surge and my over range to fluctuate in temperature. My home floods multiple times a week which has caused the carpet to mildew and mold. Living with these issues have caused respiratory infections for myself and kids.

Water drains into the building because to slope facing away from building. Almost every building has broken or no gutters causing sidewalks, hallways, low level rooms to flood.
