Cavity forming alongside water meter in ROW close to SW corner of lot.
Cavity forming alongside water meter in ROW close to SW corner of lot.
There is a stormwater drainage ditch at the corner of 11th and Illinois that is filled with stagnant water. Not sure if it belongs to the city or C&S, but either way it is ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes. I can’t tell if it is tied into city stormwater drains and simply clogged, or if it was never connected at all. Would be great if someone could investigate and maybe do a mosquito larvae dip. Thanks!
Water rapidly bubbling up from sanitary sewer manhole cover, flowing into storm drain.
The storm drain in front of 816 has mostly filled with silt again, the drain is overflowing with water even in the light rain
We had an ice buildup issue in the last deep freeze we’ve never seen before on 3rd st. Not even from the first deep freeze. Water runs from the location and house I tagged all the way down to 4th street and hasn’t stopped even as everything else has dried up post rain. Not sure if it’s a house issue or pipe issue but figured worth noting.
The manhole cover on the Fairview st. side of this address appears to be leaking some kind of foreign substance that is not water. It may not be serious, but I thought someone should come check it out.
Have been dealing with water issue on Grant & Kirkwood sidewalk. It appears it’s coming from below ground and would like to meet on-site with someone from city utilities that can help resolve this issue. It’s particularly a problem when temps fall below freezing. Thank you.
Vines hold dirt blocks water flow
Approximate location. Observed from E. 5th St. North side of road. Reporting copious standing water in easement and rear of properties at NW corner of N. Clark and E. 5th. FYI, in case some infrastructure improvement is planned, to please include some remediation of this past and future mosquito breeding environment. Thanks again.
A report from a neighbor identifying a storm culvert issue: a bicycle is in the ditch and about to enter the storm drain area that runs under the N. Glenwood West street. Need COB staff to pull the object out of the storm culvert and dispose of it. Thanks - Neighbor report to me: In addition to leaves clogging pipes on Morningside that have sent water and leaves into the street, Matt has a red bicycle stuck in the concrete chute emptying water from his front yard into the ditch and the exit under the street. It needs to be dragged out of there before it goes into the culvert under Glenwood West.
