The company that came out to install new fiber hit my water line yesterday during the day. When I came home from work I noticed all the trucks from City of Bloomington working on it. I talk to them and they said they will need to shut off my water for a few hours while it got fixed, and then to run my tub for about 5 minutes and it should all be fine. I left until this morning and went to run my tub and get my water back to normal. I have water coming out of my taps, but there is no pressure and I have no information about what happened or if it has been fixed. Please get back to me ASAP as I can not bath or wash anything in my house. I would also very much like to know the company that is in charge of digging for this new fiber as they have left a mess all over my neighborhood.

A contractor (5 Star Electric, hired by Duke Energy) for fixing a power line to the city light in front of my house broke the main water supply pipe on Aug 23, 2022. They fixed it, but the water has been leaking since then.
After closing the main water valve in the house, the water meter number goes up slowly.

My roommates and I have discovered that there was a leak with one of our toilets which caused it to continously run. So after we received our first month water bill we noticed that the bill was outrageously high and we immediately called the landlord to fix the leak. Since there was a leak, I am requesting a water bill appeal form if possible. Thank you.

Citizen (Mark Land) apparently contacted Utilities before but was not satisfied with the response-- he missed a water payment because he was on vacation and is upset that the situation cannot immediately be fixed. He already paid the past due balance, but water was shut off. He was told it could be turned back on by 6 or by tomorrow, and he just wants it on sooner rather than later. Call (812) 272-1500.
