The sidewalk is broken near the corner. The part that's broken is next to a "water" line. The sidewalk could be a problem for pedestrians, especially if they may have a visual disability or be wheelchair-bound. It may also be a problem for the waterline. Thank you for your help.

There is a burst pipe over spot 316 in the 4th St parking garage. Also, when I was parked in this spot yesterday I came out of work at 5:00 to find water pouring onto my windshield from this pipe. Note that this water was not coming from the break in the pipe (shown in the photo above), but from a location directly above where a Prius-sized car's windshield would be.

Sewage keeps backing up in our bathtub - smells terrible, toilet doesnt flush when this happens and cant be used. Standing water on the floor/carpet. These issues keep happening and the apartment complex says that they fix it and then it happens again. This time maintenance said it is an airconditioning unit. I can explain more if you can call me. Thank you!

Subject: Re: uReport Case #162510 - 3433_E._Third_St._property_needs_owner_attention Mike Arnold -- An update from a coupe weeks past on this address, I have been been busy or else would have sent a message sooner. 2/10/18: I reported to Bloomington Police the north, back of house, doors open. Lower door wide open, upper door open but storm door closed. Officers (six) arrived and cleared the house, Windows are still unlocked and storm windows may be opened as they are not closed in place on nearly all windows. Please make contact with the owner and request that they close all windows and check the two doors so they may be closed and locked. I have mentioned to you in the past, on the lower door, stone wall has fallen and mud prevents storm door to close. This needs attention. Please be more aggressive in your home owner contact. Monitoring this house and follow up on securing the house is now using Police time and resources. Plus my time and others neighbors concern that the house is being entered by homeless and others trespassers. It appears a mess inside and needs attention. If you cannot get results on this homeowner's negligence, see history back to 2004 where the city has sited issues, I will follow up with the Mayor and City legal. This needs to be solved to hold the homeowner accountable for action before something bad happens; house fire, frozen water pipes, trespassers cause issues. If you can, please tell me who the homeowner is and their contact information. I am willing to contact them to discuss issues (as the Neighborhood Association representative) - plus Bloomington Police wish to make contact. By the way - the house has not been occupied since December 2016. See attached photos Thanks - Steve Akers 3449 E. I am writing you with concerns about work being done around the city by AT&T subcontractors to lay fiber optics cable around the city. Should you talk to individuals in several neighborhoods where they have worked there is dissatisfaction. The subcontractors have at times leaving large scars across the properties of homeowners for which they then failed to make adequate repairs. Part of our sprinkling system no longer works. One of our neighbors has a 30 to 40 foot long scar across the side of his yard and the subcontractors buried both the meter for his water as well as one drain pipe from his gutters (I am including photographs). In talking to the Hallmark Management Corporation, we are not the only homeowners association that has had these kinds of experiences. I have tried to reach out to AT&T and was given assurances that I would hear back from them in an effort to resolve the situation. I have never heard back. I know the representatives from Hallmark have also been trying to reach out to AT&T without success, Can the City help to reach out to AT&T and raise these issues. I have photos I can forward, but for some reason I am having trouble including photos I have taken. Thank you. Don Hossler, 812.325.7127; hossler@indiana.edu

Water is hazardous! Apparently a young boy drown in one of the ponds in Wylie Farm subdivision, i was told it was this one. I fell in this one myself, there is an extremely slippery plastic sheet that covers the entire bottom of the pond, up to the edge of the water. If the water is high you don't see it, if its low it's exposed on the edges. When it was low i went to the edge to take a picture of the water. I fell in by slipping the instant my foot hit the plastic sheet, all the way up to my shoulders and i fell down 3 more times trying to stand up. I ended up having to get on my hands and knees to crawl out in order to get enough friction on the plastic to move and pull myself up by grabbing handfuls of the grass growing on the shore! A small kid would almost certainly drown there. A very insufficient "fence" made of 3 almost invisible plastic wires had been put around one of the ponds. A much, much better fence needs to be put around all of them, or eventually another kid will drown.
