Sorry if this is duplicate submission. Not sure last one went through. I have gulley in front of my house that is blocked by growth coming up between sparse rip rap. Water is eroding the gulley by finding path around foliage and leaves carried from upstream. Went out today after rain and water in not draining well at all. The low area of this block (1100 South between Washington and Lincoln) is in the old alley and is first flooded by the overflowing ditch along Davis Street and then water continues to flow up from damage pipe clean outs even when water in the ditch has lowered. The water peaked at about 1 foot higher than shown in the attached picture. There is a storm sewer manhole behind this garage, but no inlets are nearby. Is sanitary sewer infiltration to blame for this? Would fixing the clean outs lead to backups inside homes?
The entire street on Olive between Thornton and Miller has flooded with BLACK WATER yet again damaging 5 properties. The flooding is more severe due to the regrettable actions the city took to dump excess asphalt into the low point in the road. It's 2 am so I will not be photographing until dawn, but let me assure you, severe damage has been done by the city of Bloomingtons willful neglect of this area. We were promised a fix last year, and now during a quarantine we are flooded with BLACK WATER.

We are unable to deal with this extent of damage without compromising ourselves and the community.
We have cleaned the tops of the grates in front of our building but can not clean the culvert in the ditch, which is clogged with debris. We also have one grate that has erosion barrier under the grate which won't allow water to pass through as it is packed with mud. We were flooded in 2008. We were within a foot of it entering our building early last Saturday morning. Please send someone to address this issue before Friday. We can not survive another flood.
All the storm water runoff from the White Oak Cemetery basin, during very hard rains, cannot be handled by the 4-storm drains near the intersection of 7th and Oak Streets. The excess is diverted through the gravel parking of our neighbor at 1025 W 7th, washing the gravel onto the street. The storm water then turns and washes through the alley between 6th & 7th Streets. It then goes through our carport and yard washing our mulch away in places. Oak street was paved in the past and is higher than the storm drain at 7th and Oak so any excess water has do go through the gravel parking instead of down the street. I would be happy to meet someone to look at this problem. Thanks.

Street drain water from Olcott Rd. has created a deep gully (~4 feet deep) along the property boundary of my home on Crandall Court. 900 Block of W 11th St. floods every time it rains hard. The storm grates are clear of debris, and the pipe is not handling the water. It's flooding the street and multiple properties.
Storm pipe pushing out alot of water causing it to cave in the ground and sides of the channel. It has been causing the sides to collapse and making the channel wider taking from the land. I placed some rocks to keep the storm water from damaging the channel last year. yet We will need to add some extra rocks to hold it in place since it can't withstand the pressure as shown in the attached image.
