I live at 3500 E Morningside Drive in Bloomington (47408), and there is quite a bit of water rushing through the culvert along Morningside drive, coming from the east. I expect there is a water main break somewhere east of my house. (2/2/2019 - 7:44 a.m.)
Reported last night that the water in my house was shut off; as of this morning, problem has been resolved. Must have been utility work around the corner or something.
Not sure if this is private property or part of the green belt along Clarizz but trash is everywhere and there is a large body of untreated water ready to fester with rising temperatures.

I live at 3260 Southern Oaks dr there is a cover not on /missing on a water valve at 3256 Southern oaks dr. My neighbor has hit it with his lawn mower and destroyed 2 of them see rust in the picture of the last hit this year. They are Chinese I believe here affiliated with IU. I have tried to put this lid back on and it seems to be not the lid for this or there is another reason it will not fit. It is a trip hazard right next to the sidewalk. Says street was resurfaced 1-2 years ago, changed drainage, water no longer travels to sewer, stops in front of his driveway and pools up. Says street resurfacing raised level so there's no curb and no drainage. Says he has contacted Street and Engineering before.
