I have water leaking continually behind my house from a larger Teal colored pipe. After checking the meter its running up, but I am not using any water inside the house. Can someone come take a look at it?
I've recently had a plumber repair a water leak for me and he referred me to contact you guys. He said that I need to ask you guys to come out and replace my very old concrete water main area with the newer pipe/fittings and the composite circular area around the main.
Woman living in an RV in the back yard is operating an open air cat kennel without a permit. She also provides food, water or shelter to a colony of feral cats without being registered with the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control Department or its designee. There are 3 walk in cages housing cats in the back yard. I have a video illustrating this if you will contact me I can share it. I am a EC commissioner and Utility Dept Storm sewer volunteer and have been trying to keep my neighborhoods storm drains clear to prevent street flooding. I have been removing pavement fragments for several months that have washed downhill to the storm sewers at the intersection of Queensway and Chelsey Court. Today I cleared the debris from these at this location and added new eroded pavement that have been washing downslope to the drains. I consolidated the material on the curb and grass at the northeast drain at the intersection. This material can and has obstructed the drains and some has washed into the underground sewer line. Thus these drains when obstructed can result in street flooding, blocking the underground storm sewer and result in stream water contamination. Can these debris be removed and disposed of? Looks like there is water leaking into street from recent city work. Location of leak is in the cul de sac on S Daniel Ct in the Kensington neighborhood.
The tree inside the large dog park has a large diameter dip around the base of it. This dip is constantly filled with very rank smelling water and I along with all other dog owners have discussed how unhappy we are that we must bathe our dogs anytime we take them to get exercise. My dog needs consistent exercise and the best way to do this is at the dog park, but constant bathing can cause skin to dry out. At one point, the city had placed a temporary barrier around it so I believed there was hope for a solution, but since then the barrier has been taken down.

All the storm drains at this intersection were cleared except for one and it's the main one. The picture shows the one drain that was not cleared. All that leaf litter in it is what has flown downhill to this drain. The strain is the one that is the out drain that all the others are attached to. If this one doesn't drain then the water collects in the intersection. When this drain was cleared three weeks ago all the leaf litter was left on the grass next to the drain and that's one reason why it got clogged again.
THANK YOU for keeping the path clear of leaves this fall. It has enhanced our walk each day. We also appreciate the two new "bridges" across the path where water used to stand. Very nice. I'm wondering if the southern most "bridge" will get a railing of some kind. It seems a little precarious for walkers who might lose their balance. Thanks for considering this safety feature.
Tents set up overnight. Tons of trash. Social gatherings > 15 people. Alcohol and drug use. Apparently city has social workers at park to hand out free water and supplies. Nobody is taking care of real problems.
