This building has a water leak in the main supply in the pit in front of the building. It is has been reported by fire inspection company while looking into repair of their line. It is believed to be before the meter and on the city side.
The County side of the building took down trees, has smoking next to the entrance, invasive plants and weeds all over, an area of the pavement that is a big hole that is either ice or pooling water depending on time of year, and they have signage under storm grate that was intentionally picked up and placed in there. These things are not okay, would not be tolerated if there was any other tenant, and inexcusable. Why has this not been addressed with the county that exists in City limits? They should have better standards for their taxpayers and patrons than this. As well, there are trees at the back of the property that are dying that seem to have been more recently installed in the past few years but who will replace them?? Please fix this as previous reports have just been closed out without addressing any of the issues.
As can be seen in the photo there are three dry creek beds (swales) feeding the area where the runoff water is pooling during a heavy rain fall. Cause of the pooling is the drain through a small ridge is eroded and clogged up. City needs to remedy this issue.
Loud noise being emitted through the water line and through the apartment building. Staff noted coming from main line. Not sure if there has been work in the area recently and air in the system. Thank you
There is excessive water usage taking place at this property. It has been occurring for over a week. We have notified you that we believe the leak is on the City's side. Water ponding after rain. People walk on street or grass to avoid water ponding. One family had a stroller and had to go onto street to negotiate sidewalks filled with water.
Today and always when there's been heavy rain over the last years, 1st Street floods in our stretch, because there's no drain in the block between Stull and Fess Ave. where we are. At our house, the water hits the curb of the alley in such a way that the entire grass patch and side way is flooded, making it dangerous to walk on the side way. I'm attaching a picture of now, when the rain has already become more steady. I can provide a number of short videos we've taken over the years to document the problem. Please, consider installing a drain or let us know what can be done about this. It is dangerous for us, our toddler son and our visitors. Thank you!
Unit 4 is deer feeding by intentionally leaving unattended bird seed and water out on her back porch, unit 4 at 807 S Morton. It has already attracted rats.
During hard rains, water backs up in the southeast corner of my yard and comes into my garage and basement from the parking pad on the east and below grade through the wall to the north. The sidewalk running along the Clifton St. right of way is the east boundary of my property (see photo). Water simply can't move fast enough to the culvert you installed south of my property on the west side of the sidewalk. Is there anything you can do to alleviate this problem? There appears to be a water leak underneath the medium/easement in front of the house at 934 W. Kirkwood Avenue between the bus stop and the tree.
