Water ponding after rain. People walk on street or grass to avoid water ponding. One family had a stroller and had to go onto street to negotiate sidewalks filled with water.

There has been a PT Cruiser (license plate 612PBD) parked in front of this address since August 2020 at the very least. It has more than one completely flat tire, and license plates dated from 2019. Note in the window states it is a neighbor's car, but that they use bikes more often. This car has not moved at all, and appears completely abandoned in prime street parking, within a neighborhood where parking can be quite tricky.

Just today, I noticed a 4, maybe 5 year old ridding his/her bike down 10th St., and the parents walking along seemed 'forced' to help child off bike, then "lift" bike onto sidewalk. As I use a walker, and to gain access to the BT 'stop'. I feel it best someone contact the BHA (Barrington Homeowners Association and enforce city laws of/for which they claimed to be "exempt" from, although I very much disagree. I consider this/them to be a well justified part of the City of Bloomington. IF asked/requested, I will take a picture of possible curb-cut or ramp sites.

I was in downtown Bloomington this weekend. There is no parking lines to know which meter I needed to pay. It was quite confusing. If I knew I could included a photo I would have. Please mark the parking spots so they align with parking meters.

This stormwater conduit that drains the Cascades neighborhood is compromised - tall weeds grow every season in several areas where the cement has crumbled away over the years. I have reported this before and requested a repair, however the response was to patch a few of the larger missing areas with asphalt. This is not a sufficient conduit to manage the volume of stormwater that flows from uphill. Especially since this is a very uneven surface, stormwater is not adequately managed at this point.

My neighbor John East told me that city surveyors were planning a project to renovate this storm drain system that flows from his yard in an open stream - through my yard which was tiled over at some point (I believe the city did this but cannot confirm). This system flows then into Cascades Park. There are a significant number of sunken areas along the path of this conduit in my yard - which has concerned me regarding the integrity of this pathway. I have had MUCH trouble with hydrostatic pressure along my basement foundation, and have not found a cause for this to date. Additionally, when the rain is hard enough, this system will back up into John's yard and the water will breach Skyline Dr. and flood my yard as well. I am looking for information about any plan for a project so that I can respond in time by moving perennials and manage expectations regarding disruption at the house from possible excavation and construction. There is a drainage issue outside our neighbor’s home that is running in front of our home as well. The standing water has been there for about a year, is disgusting and has an odor that smells like fish. I am concerned about our children getting sick from getting this contaminated water on their hands and body. This is located on the cul-de-sac of S Bay Hill Court in Fieldstone Subdivision - specifically in front of 431 S Bay Hill Court. During the fall of 2020, annual maintenance of the electric wires on the right side of the street (heading south) was done. I don’t know if it’s the city, Duke Energy, or a company who performs this task but today I am writing to complain about the results of the work. It affects the following locations * Beginning at 1816 S High heading south through 2011 S High * And again beginning at 2020 S High heading south through 2021 S High As an avid gardener, it is painful to look at the way the trees are trimmed in the first place. This is the most egregious offense. And just as important, the trees and limbs that were removed are randomly thrown on the ground and it is a visual eyesore. When I look at this I wonder why all the trees aren’t just removed from both stretches on South High? Who is responsible for this mess and what can be done about it? It is shoddy work and our town of Bloomington shouldn’t allow for it.
