City of Bloomington Utilities Continues Fire Hydrant Maintenance During Week of May 13
Bloomington, Ind. – The City of Bloomington Utilities will continue fire hydrant maintenance in the following locations during the week of May 13:

South Shields Ridge Road

East Ramp Creek Road
-
Handy Road
-
Moffett Lane
-
Dogwood Estates
-
Fairfax Road/Church Lane to South Rogers Street

Admiral Glen Estates
-
South Rogers Street, south of Church Lane

Winding Brook Subdivision
Crews will perform flow tests and other necessary maintenance on fire hydrants in the aforementioned areas. Signage will be displayed in the affected areas on the day the maintenance takes place, and maintenance crews will carry proper identification. The schedule is subject to change if each day's work is not completed as scheduled or in case of inclement weather.
Customers may notice fluctuations in pressure and/or discoloration of their tap water during hydrant maintenance. If water appears discolored, customers are advised to run their cold water tap until it clears. It is recommended that customers postpone washing clothes and limit use of hot water until the cold water clears.
