BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE CITY OF BLOOMINGTON UTILITIES SERVICE BOARD

The City of Bloomington Department of Public Works and the City of Bloomington Utilities Department jointly are requesting proposals for Janitorial Services at multiple city facilities located through-out Bloomington, Indiana. The purpose of this request is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for the scope of services included in this request.

OFFICE OF THE MAYOR

The City of Bloomington, Indiana issues this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking qualified, visionary brokers and developers, to assist the City with ongoing development needs and several specific projects.

The City is currently engaged in four major development projects, the B-Line Trail, a 3.1-mile long, 12-foot wide paved walking and biking path, redevelopment of the Trades District, redevelopment of the current hospital site, and development of a brand new park, Switchyard Park.

The City is seeking partners to provide master developer services for the hospital site project, master developer services for selected properties surrounding the Switchyard Park, brokerage services for the Trades District project, and local brokerage services on an ongoing, as needed, basis.

The following is the schedule for responding to this RFQ. The schedule is subject to change:

July 9, 2018 – RFQ issued

July 20, 2018 Deadline for submitting questions

July 27, 2018 – Responses to questions due from City

August 3, 2018 – RFQ responses due

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

The City of Bloomington is seeking interested vendors who can provide design and fabrication based services to be listed in conjunction with ongoing Public Art Opportunities through the City's 1% for the Arts Program. Interested vendors would have their business listed for potential work with the City on future public art commissions. Potential vendors should be willing to work with emerging artist/designers, who may not have fabrication skills or experience with public art installations on public art projects.
