City of Bloomington Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month with La Fiesta del Otoño
The City of Bloomington invites residents and visitors to join the 2025 La Fiesta del Otoño, a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Latiné culture, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Switchyard Park Pavilion, 1601 S. Rogers St. This year’s theme is “Finding Strength in Community / Nuestra Fuerza está en la Comunidad.”
Hosted by the City’s Community and Family Resources Department’s Latino Outreach staff and the Commission on Hispanic and Latiné Affairs, this annual event takes place during National Hispanic Heritage Month. It honors the unity, culture, and contributions of Bloomington’s Hispanic and Latiné communities, and welcomes all residents and visitors to celebrate together.
“Our city is at its best when every resident feels seen, valued, and included,” said Shatoyia Moss, Community and Family Resources Director. “La Fiesta del Otoño is a joyful way to celebrate Latiné culture while strengthening the bonds that unite us as one Bloomington community.”
