Improving mobility, strengthening muscles, and reducing stiffness with each step-perfect for those with arthritis or anyone looking to move better, The Arthritis Foundation's Walking with Ease program is a structured and evidence-based initiative designed to alleviate chronic pain through regular group walking activities.

Instructor-led walks take place at local parks and trails, meeting three times per week for six weeks. The hour consists of an active warm up and stretching, education on physical activity, and a guided walk. Stroll through scenic parks, loosen up stiff joints, and boost your energy-all at your own pace! Walk length and difficulty is indivudualized for each participant. Participants can expect to walk approximately 20 to 40 minutes each session.

There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. For more information, contact Shelby Drake at 812-349-3771.
