Businesses may set up an account with City of Bloomington Utilities to enable water and wastewater service.

If you are starting a restaurant, it's important that you speak with the Utilities Department Engineering Division about grease interceptors. All food service establishments are required to have an approved grease interceptor installed prior to occupancy. It's advisable that you determine whether your property and business requires a grease interceptor prior to signing a lease or taking on financial commitments due to the cost and time associated with installing a grease interceptor.
