Street Department started a repair on the storm culvert in her yard two months ago and has no finished the repair. She called on 7/20/95 to complain and I contacted Rodney Douglas at that time and reminded him of the project. Ms. Lawrence believes that since the hole has been left open that more damage has occurred. I told her we would reinspect.
Swale behind house not properly draining, never dries out, poses a health hazard. ditch needs to be cleaned out to contain the flow of water and trees need to be trimmed to let the sun dry the area out.
Street drains do not work adequately and water backs up onto driveway and into house. Currently owner is pursueing the previous property owner due to lack information about on-going/previous drainage problem. He would like all avaiable information that the City has on file in regards to previous drainage complaints.
Water runs off going north on Maple Street, goes down driveway and into the garage. A poriton of 16th Street, which is at this point is unimproved, runs behind the property of 212 N. Maple. Dunn, Ferguson, and Schmalz own both properties and do not mind if the water is redirected onto their property behind N. Maple. J. Freeman stated that this address was looked into a couple of years ago and it was decided that an asphalt berm could be installed across the drive at 212 N. Maple.
Standing water is causing damage.
Drainage from Bainbridge Subdivision still a problem.
FLOODING DUE TO CHANGE IN INTERSECTION OF SECOND AND WASHINGTON (IT WAS RAISED 6").
CREEK NEAR PROPERTY NOT CLEANED OUT OR DEEP ENOUGH. WATER BACKS UP ON HIS PROPERTY NEAR THE DOOR OF HIS HOUSE.
JACKSON CREEK RUNS BEHIND HOUSE. STATED THAT FLOODING HAS INCREASED SINCE THE SARE ROAD PROJECT.
