Water form the neighborhood is flowing into my yard causing floods and interior damage once saturated. I have a lot of video evidence. I am trying to repair damage on my own, but I can't keep up.
Water pools on NE corner of 11th/Lincoln intersection (formerly a sidewalk) and freezes. This is dangerous. Water pools at same location in summer and causes swampy conditions.
The stormwater runoff inlets at the intersection of Parkway and Middle Court are insufficient to support the amount of stormwater runoff from the entire length of Parkway. This causes flooding at the intersection of Middle Court and Westwood. We need additional to increase the number inlets along the entire length of Parkway in order to alieviate this problem. Mr. Peden has been apprised of this problem. However, acquiring sufficient funding from the City has not been forthcoming.
There is not an issue at my house. However on Veness Road right before Bush Lake Road, water has been running on the road for well over 2 months. It is a very slow run off, but is definitely coming from the right land of Veness Road. About a month ago there was a major water leak on Veness just before Bloomington Ferry. That was fixed. This one has been leaking since early Spring. Thought I should let you know.
The stormwater culvert appears to be partially blocked with debris at multiple points. The first point is where a pipe passes under the B-Line trail, just near lamppost 136. There is a large tree trunk that is impeding the flow of stormwater there. The second point is further down the culvert, where two smaller pipes pass under the railroad tracks. One pipe is partially blocked, and the other is completely blocked with leaves and debris. Kriste has my contact info if you have any questions.
On the southeast corner of the intersection at Woodlawn and Maxwell, runoff from the yard on that corner is causing significant ice accumulation on the road. It's impossible to pull up properly to the stop sign going north without veering into the middle of Woodlawn. I have lived on Maxwell for more than 20 years and don't recall seeing this problem before. There is a fire hydrant on the corner of the property, so perhaps this is the source of the water?
The home we bought 2 years ago has flood damage and serious drainage issue that I can't not get under control. There is stormwater runoff that has been coming from (5) different neighboring properties and especially the one huge lot at 2130 Shan Crest Hill 46239. When there is a rainstorm not only does or crawl space completely fill up but our yard on the South, East, and west sides become quickly flooded like a lake. there is a 12" culvert drain pipe that runs east to west on the South side that run right next to the road Raymond Street that should be able to accept my neighbors & our ground water but the 12" easement drain pipe is roughly 13" higher win elevation than the area in the rear of my home where all of their ground water collects so it just fills up and resides under our homes foundation. My wife and I have tried everything bought and burnt out several 1, 2. and 3 HP water pumps with no luck. there is just way, WAY to much water. We are becoming very worried about the possibility's of permanent foundation damage, mold, and our home becoming condemned. Every contractor at least (9) or (10) decline getting involved engineers as well. we are at the end of our rope sorta speak.... 1 year after my yard was flooded with mud, this retention hole behind my house is still unfinished and full of weeds! Recently in July they dug up pipes they had installed, and they are still lying there.... who is responsible for finally finishing this mess and mowing the weeds down? I dread another heavy rain and my yard filling with mud again... Please have the people who are responsible finish construction of this area and maintain it properly! Thanks , Dave Reid 812-363-3049

Fire Hydran in yard at 946 Commons Drive in Sherwood Green is dripping water from three plugs. Dripping is steady but not gushing. Just a steady drip, drip, drip from each plug.
