Homeless encampment on the corner of Fairview and Patterson is eyesore and have seen unhoused in public urination at daylight hours. Children in car witnessed public urination. How is this public encampment allowed?
With the new administration incoming, will there be a renewed focus on female centered solutions for various items in city hall? The women’s bathrooms have gaping cracks in the stalls which lack privacy, there is a bolt missing in a lock that creates a peep hole, and the breastfeeding privacy area is a curtain at the entrance of the 1st floor bathroom which provides little to no privacy as folks can see into the area when the door opens and you can clearly see shoes and who’s in the area below the curtain. It is difficult to report these issues on the internal system as they require a lot of information and cannot be reported anonymously by staff who just simply seek workplace improvements and equity. Debris in roundabout at 17 and Arlington. Shopping cart, car tire, etc blocking the sidewalk on W-NW side.
Somebody dumped a large shopping cart on the roundabout where W 17th meets Arlington Rd. It has a used tire and a big bag full of junk that is now strewn around. Threlkeld, James Shannon info@bloomington.in.gov Hello, Commercial Service has illegally parked their commercial trucks in our upscale neighborhood (average home value is 750K) every day for the last 30 days. It is parked at 3954 E. Fenbrook Ln. Bloomington 47401. They have been parking other vehicles (smaller) periodically since June of 2023. Now it's every day and with their large commercial trucks. I have posted to Ureport with no success. This is no different than parking RVs or boats in residential neighborhoods. The presence of these trucks puts downward pressure on the value of the homes in this neighborhood. Who wants to pay over 750,000 for a house with big commercial trucks parked in the driveway next door every evening when they come home and all day on the weekends? This is what Commercial Services is doing in this neighborhood. Just so you know, I have made three phone calls to the company asking them to stop parking these trucks overnight and on the weekends in our neighborhood.
I turned in some street lights along the Polly Grimshaw Trail 814-4248, 814-4249, 814-4254 because they were out last Saturday night, while the others were working.
