Fire Hazards:

Other: Large piles of firewood, placed along the property line, along a wood fence, along side of house. The firewood is intermixed with other conbustable waste collected. Firewood is too close to house (should be 30 ft away), too close to wood fence, too close to property line/ neighbor's fence. Fire Hazard suspected, especially in 2020, a long time without rain, 56 days.

This is not something that Planning and Transportation regulates. If Fire and HAND also do not regulate fire wood, then it appears that this is not something we can address.

Firewood is not a violations of Title6 Should be stacked in an organized manner. There are no restrictions on location. May be an issue with Planning. Will forward to them for review

After discussion with our fire inspector it was decided to forward this issue to the HAND department due to several open items on the same property. Based on fire code, there is no regulation that expressly prohibits the storage of fire wood.
