The area on the north side of Sudbury Drive, between the last Millenium driveway and Arbor Ridge Way is not being maintained, mowed, etc. by the Millemium Apartment Management. I complained to Kenny Liford in the summer of 2024. He told me he gave them a warning and that they would be fined if they did not comply. To date, they have never mowed that area since that complaint. They used to maintain it until the past 2-3 years. According to the INDOT, this area is within the city limits. The area not being maintained is along the tree conservancy, which is owned by Millenium but governed by the city.
Blocked Street
N Hopewell St

I am writing to follow up on my concerns regarding the ongoing construction of the new house across from 1422 North Hopewell Street.
As you know, North Hopewell Street is quite narrow and a dead end. For the past year, construction workers have frequently blocked the road, making it difficult for residents to enter or leave. The street is only wide enough for one vehicle, yet construction personnel routinely park directly in the middle of the road or park vehicles on both sides. This has even caused issues for the trash collection services.
This has become a daily problem, often causing delays that have made me late for work as I have to wait for vehicles to be moved. Unfortunately, it seems that there is often a lack of consideration or urgency in resolving these obstructions.
Furthermore, the property has already hosted several gatherings with insufficient parking, which has further increased the congestion on the street.
Thank you for your time and attention to this persistent issue.

Plants along sidewalk have grown out enough to impede pedestrians, and they keep growing. Could be responsibility of 713 E. Cottage Grove, or maybe both.
Street & Traffic Signs
600 and 700 blocks of Eagleson Ave.

Cars and buses regularly speed on this street, often exceeding 35 miles per hour. Due to their speed, they are unable to stop at the stop signs—including city buses. I am requesting that a speed limit sign be installed, ideally one that displays drivers’ actual speed (similar to those used in school zones).
Our street and its connection to First Street have effectively become an unofficial bypass for east–west and west–east traffic, including city buses. This is a residentially zoned area with pedestrians, cyclists, children, pets, and wildlife. The sidewalks are narrow, and vehicles—especially buses—traveling at high speeds pose a serious risk. I have personally witnessed both buses and cars run stop signs, even when pedestrians, families with baby carriages, and cyclists are present. The cars/buses still don't stop and merely drive around the "obstacles."
At a minimum, a visible speed limit sign should be installed—preferably one that tracks and displays speeds.
