There is water leaking onto the street from the water line
The water department dug this hole in my yard along with another huge hole earlier this summer. The other was filled and reseeded but this never was.
There was a High Water sign put up at Indiana & 6th, the IU Grounds dept. picked up the bracket/stand but the sign was gone. The bracket is here at our office at 2222 E. 10th Street, can be picked up M-F, 7am-3:30pm. Thanks Jill.
On Smith Rd. between Morningside Drive and the railroad overpass, there is lots of debris along the road, there were sandbags that were put out around the drains which have since then broken up and laying there probably preventing water from going down the drain. The weeds along the sidewalks on both sides need weedwhipped. It's very unsightly. Thanks.
cover on water meter is not secure, could slide off
Water is actively percolating into the intersction, coming from pavement and along 15th Street in front of Fairview Apartments (615 W 15th Street), draining into sewer drains on either side of 15th Street, water also present along 15th Street to the east of this intersection, puddling. Water is clear, no oder, suspect suply line issue. Olympus Properties (812) 334-8200

Missing water meter cover at entrance to drive: 1023 and 1025 S Walnut Street
Missing water meter cover between 1023 and 1025 S Walnut Street, Bloomington IN. Appears to be an 11 inch cover that is missing.
Issue: Sewage backed up into two homes under our management: 1. 1403 West Allen Street 2. 1405 West Allen Street Significant amount of toilet paper and feces was deposited in basement. Had to be professionally removed and disinfected. Question: Did the City flush or work on lines near or around the Allen Street Properties recently? Is this a normal occurrence? The pipes appear to be clear now, water runs through freely.
