Area on east side of Lincoln, N. of 12th Street and close to RR fence is a low area where water accumulates and serves as a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This area should be regraded or filled to prevent the water from pooling.

three years ago when we had a water main break they tore up this section of my yard and it was under the street. It has never grown grass. Twice I have them come back and put more seed on it asked for soil (which never happened) only sees and straw. This spring I put on 10 bags of garden soil and grass seed. And it had just started to grow. When this rain came and washed it all away. I would like the city to put sod in. after 3 years and 2 to 3 inches of soil and sod still missing it seems to be the only solution!

Ms Fulford left a voice message 8/22/16 indicating the neighbor to the north (521 N Dunn St) has a pump for a spring that shoots water out at least every few minutes and it's pointed toward her house and water has no where to go so just ponds.

We have a sidewalk already, but I have a question about modifying it. We are considering having some drainage work done on our property and would like a drain/grate through the sidewalk to help with water draining. We've seen some in the sidewalks along Blair Ave. and were curious about how to have one installed. Road was torn up during repairs to water line over the winter. Has not been resurfaced. Hazardous because cars drive on wrong side of street to avoid non-paved areas.

703 N Washington had had a constant pool of water along the sidewalk for the past 6+ months. It appears to be over the meter cover. The primary problem is that this had been a mosquito breeding ground all summer.
