We're moving to B'ton in July on S. High St. Our moving van will need to block S. High for 4-5 hours on a weekday; do we need a permit to have the truck block a bus route, and what is the cost if yes?
167265 was a previous case of the same problem. It was closed by Kelsey Thetonia. I report that the creek is intermittently very dirty and muddy looking. It was very clear yesterday and now it is very dirty, like previous pictures I have sent. Since it was clear yesterday and hasn't rained since Saturday, it seems like it is more than simple runoff. I am at my daughters house, watching grandkids, and first time ever to park in her garage, I back out, watching for her cats and back into the street light at end of her drive. It is on the ground. (I am unsure if this is the correct place to report this.)
My water consumption use (and corresponding bill) is twice as much as any of my other previous months. We have not increased our usage during March - if anything, it should be a little less since we were out of town for a week. This reading cannot be accurate.

On February 24 during a wind storm a tree, which stands near the power line between Arden Dr. and Queens Way, dangerously cracked. The workers from Duke Energy, who cut a big portion of the tree, understandably didn’t want it to fall on the power line. They did it in a such way that branches fell to our back yard and even damaged the fence. Duke doesn’t want to remove debris and repair the fence. Despite the tree stand on the land belonging to Duke (or town?) and the damage was not the act of nature, they claim that it is not their responsibility. The street sign at the corner of S. High Street and Wimbleton Lane is broken, with the street names hanging down so that they are very hard to see.
