This median is part of the city property and is never mowed. It is unsightly and overgrown as it has not been mowed this year. Please add this location to your mowing schedule for the City of Bloomington.
Multiple deterioration happens. I think the city repatched multiple times, but it still falls apart after a few months. I think it needs repavement

Around 8:30pm on May 28, 2026, a group of 4 or 5 kids on electric motorcycles were riding recklessly through Switchyard Park and on the B-Line Trail. These are motorcycles, not bicycles. They are dangerous for everyone else in the park and on the trail. The electric motorcycles take off quickly and travel at high rates of speed. These kids have a complete disregard for the safety of others. Someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed in Bloomington soon as a result of these kids on electric motorcycles. They are cutting across the B-Line Trail and through park facilities, swerving at people on the trail, passing close without announcing themselves or slowing down. People moving at human speed are not expecting a motorcycle traveling at 25+ mph to appear out of nowhere, weaving and doing wheelies. The City needs to send the police to patrol the B-Line and park to make sure innocent people doing things the right way are not seriously injured or killed by these motorcycles being illegally ridden on the trails in town. It is only a matter of time before someone is harmed. The City needs to do more to make it safe.
There is a pothole on East Tapps Turn around the location noted in the map. More broadly, East Tapps Turn has not been resurfaced in over 13 years. Over the past few years, and particularly in 2025, practically all the streets around Tapps Turn have been resurfaced. A few years ago, a paving truck left a single strip of asphalt over a random stretch of road -- as if it was just getting rid of leftover asphalt -- but there are many areas of the street that are crumbling. It's starting to be a little bit of a hazard, having chunks of asphalt in the road, because trucks kick them up when driving around the turn. East Tapps Turn gets an excessive amount of traffic for its size, because many people (including residents, delivery drivers, and service vehicles) use it for ingress to and egress from Hyde Park.
Large pot hole at intersection in front of property. Intersection is S. Nota Dr and E Woodbine Ave right at the stop sign.
