We neighbors on Hunters Glen were informed that this outside area bordering Brian & Kim Crawford’s home is a protected natural area and cannot be cleaned up by residents. This year, it has grown to be, literally, a hazard. There’s are tree limbs and vines that are hanging down, als graze the cars as you pass under them . There is a tight curve in the road and the overgrown trees & shrubbery block visibility and is an accident walking to happen— especially with a home for sale on the cul-de-sac, resulting in increased traffic and strangers in the street. In addition, the greenery planted by the city when they put in the new multiuse path in sare rd is now also VERY overgrown, making exiting Hunters Glen scary and hazardous. We would really appreciate someone from the city coming to handle this clean up for us— before am accident occurs! The photos do not show the actual severity of the situation. I live at 3500 E Morningside Drive in Bloomington, Indiana. (There are two homes that appear to be at this address. Ours is the light green ranch house with a dark green metal roof.) We have a dark green plastic mailbox by the street. Our mailbox was damaged this morning, 8/9/23, sometime after 6:30am. Our neighbor noticed the damage and notified us this morning at 11:04am. Since today, 8/9/23, is Wednesday, the day that trash and recycling are collected in the Park Ridge neighborhood, we are guessing that the damage was caused accidently by the robotic arm of the sanitation vechicle. We didn't have bins out this morning to empty, but other neighbors did. It was scraped on the top, pushed back and to the side, the plastic on the back was broken, etc. We had a box for the Herald-Times newspaper next to the mailbox which was knocked over during this incident, so my husband removed the post from the ground. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of that. I'm hoping someone would be willing to meet with us to see the damage. If after seeing the damage, they agree this could have been done accidently by the robotic arm of the sanitation vehicle, I'm hoping we could be reimbursed for the damage. Thank you for your time and attention to this concern. Please know that we greatly appreciate the weekly sanitation and recycling services provided by the city staff.

Every school day, multiple cars park along 2nd street in front of Binford school. Other cars are backed up from the parking lot. They block part of the street while doing this, and they make it dangerous to put onto the street and to drive through the area. Please do not allow them to park partially in the street or in areas that are not parking spots.

Either the person that sets the signaling for the traffic lights in the city of Bloomington is either the most incompetent idiot on the planet or is the biggest joke over there how you guys have the traffic lights signals so you literally have to stop at every light all over town even during rush hour you guys have multiple lights signaling turn red so you guys have people stopping in the middle of the intersection because they don't want to get stuck by five lights in a row I've sent multiple emails to you guys so have coworkers and other people that I know in the city what are you guys fix the lights over 69 on the west side all through Walnut Street it's like that I just came down 2nd Street you literally had car sitting in the intersection because they didn't want to get stuck by multiple lights in a row

Why haven’t you installed pedestrian crossing lines and signals yet? You’ve known about this for so long. I was nearly hit crossing with the light on foot just today. Cars in every direction had to adjust to seeing a pedestrian crossing, they all wanted to drive where I was crossing. Do something now! Tens of thousand of students are coming, always dangerous for pedestrians. Someone will get hurt with students never looking for people on foot when they’re trying to figure out where they’re going, turning, beating yellow lights, turning on red, etc. PLEASE!

This is a cul-de-sac in Park Ridge East. The paving at entrance to the street is in disrepair. At the top of the cul-de-sac is a huge pot hole. The center of the street is breaking away. To drive up and down this street many times a day is frustrating. It would be wonderful to have it repaved.
