We had a request for extra patrols to monitor the intersection at Kingston and Longview. The caller said drivers routinely "fly through" the busy intersection, putting other motorists and pedestrians at risk.

Anonymous caller was upset that Truck #462 stopped at Crescent Donuts and bought a paper and a donut at noon today. He said, as a taxpayer, he pays for this man's truck and doesn't want him doing any personal business on company time.

Male caller said Adams St. near the old railroad tracks hasn't been paved in years and the City needs to do something about it. He said the pavement is so rough it routinely damages cars that drive over it, especially if they're going over 10 miles an hour.

Female bus driver said she thinks it's dangerous for City Sanitation trucks to block the entire width of the street when they're doing the trash pickup. She said she's afraid there will be a bad accident.

It is almost impossible to find a Section 8 home in this town. I hear its because there is so much money to be made off housing here. I want to know where I can find a decent home for my child and I to live. I've been looking for a decent home for almost 2 years now. I'm a great tenant, pay my rent on time, keep a clean home, and stay quiet. Despite these things, I can't find a home because we are low income. Where do I find a place to live in this town?!

Please forward this praise to the appropriate dept: If we haven't thanked the appropriate department already, on behalf of Bloomington Transit I want to give an enormous thanks to all the staff responsible for clearing the roads so that BT's fixed route and BTaccess (disabled transport) could successfully maintain operations last week during the awful cold and snow. Under the underpass is a drainpipe that has ice built up around it. When it rains water gushes out of it . It's right over the exit from 37 northbound to 46 eastbound.

Leaves were never removed from Greenbriar, Mayfair, and Arden neighborhoods last fall. Snow fell on top making snow removal a mess. Potholes emerged making it even worse especially where Wilton and Greenbriar merge. Then last weekend - city crews were pumping what I presume to be leaves out of the storm sewer leaving a huge mess. The entry to our neighborhood now looks really bad. Crumbling roads covered with muck and piles of dead leaves. What does one need to do to bring attention to this? When will the leaves be removed and the roads be repaired and cleaned up?
